Bloody Mary Hangover Cure, Hangover Hospital

If you are reading this, you or your buddy might be experiencing classic hangover symptoms that are ruining your day. At Hangover Hospital, we have devoted our research resources to finding effective cures that work within minutes of administration by experienced practitioners.

Hangover Hospital Key West provides clients with their 45-minute IV relief, which eliminates the hangover symptoms. Clients rely on mobile practitioners, but others also visit the hospital for treatment. They also offer other cures like the Virgin Mary and Bloody Mary.

Bloody Mary Hangover Treatment

Bloody Mary, a commonly known hangover cure we also administer to clients, consists of vodka, tabasco sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and tomato juice. There are, however, many different variations and names, including Michelada, Red Snapper, Virgin Mary, and Caesar.

Despite having variations, some ingredients are consistent throughout, including:

  • Tomato Juice: Its content packs several health benefits. It contains lycopene which destroys toxins left in your liver after alcohol metabolism. It also boosts brain growth and enhances brain function. It controls the genes that reduce inflammation within these regions.
  • Worcestershire Sauce: a complete combination of chili pepper, garlic, cloves, molasses, and anchovies, the sauce is high in Vitamin B6. B6 is crucial in helping in digestion and fighting body infection. It also aids in breaking down liver toxins. Anchovies mixed in provide Vitamin B3, which helps convert fats and carbohydrates into energy.
  • Lemon: Since alcohol might cause bloating and or constipation, lemon juice soothes the digestive tract.

Various Blood Mary’s might also have steak sauce, black pepper, horseradish, celery, and lime wedges.

Virgin Mary, an Alternative Hangover Cure

Experts at Hangover Hospital advise that even though their rapid hangover cure is effective, clients should regulate alcohol intake because of its effects on metabolism and nutrient intake.

We also recommend the Virgin Mary, which excludes vodka, unlike the Bloody Mary. Also called the Bloody Virgin, this cure is non-alcoholic. The cocktail adds more tomato juice instead of vodka.

Many clients, however, agree that vodka in the Bloody Mary deals with your hangover by giving a slightly tipsy feeling. The feeling, in turn, starves off symptoms like headaches.

The inception of the Bloody Mary

Enthusiasts and researchers traced the Bloody Mary roots to Harry’s Bar, Paris. In 1921, Petiot Fernand invented the cure, and in 1934 he brought the recipe to the United States. The original content was lemon juice, dashes of black pepper, cayenne pepper, salt, Worcestershire sauce, and equal portions of tomato juice and vodka.

The rapid hangover treatment was served at St. Regis Hotel’s King Cole Bar in New York during its introduction. It was popularly called Red Snapper. Grounds for its origin and current name are, however, debatable, with several theories being given.

Some stated the inspiration of the cocktail’s name was Chicago’s Bucket of Blood Club and Mary, a waiter.
